What Were You Thinking? Patrick Dempsey

I know that you are popular now because you star in one of a million hospital shows, but did you forget your roots? I remember you as a geek in Can't Buy Me Love, which is one of my all time favorites. Seth Green as your little brother is top notch, and the plot of the movie is sheer genius as far as teen movies go. You buy a girl's attention so you can become popular. Then you fight with all your geek friends who you dropped because you forget who you really "were." Once again, pure gold in a teen movie.

I also remember you in Loverboy where you play a pizza delivery boy equipped with a fake mustache. That is, until one day a hot older woman answers the door and pays you to have sex with her. She tells all her rich friends about you and then you go on to become a young pizzaboy/gigolo. Of course, there is trouble when the husbands find out about you, but you make it through. God, what a fine piece of art.

But now, Patrick, I have to see you as a hunk that all the ladies adore. What I'm trying to figure out is when/why you became a heartthrob. I think it is when you grew out the stubble, but I'm still a little unclear. When I grow out the stubble the ladies do seem to like me better. But I'm no Dr. McDreamy, I can't touch you there.

But have you changed that much since the 80's? Not really, you just make boring television shows now, instead of classic 80's movies. I understand that you gotta grow up and mature as an actor, but did you have to do Grey's Anatomy? I don't get it man. But if you are happy, I'll let you be. Just know that "you threw shit at my house!" And I'm not happy about it.
